Her European roots and her American upbringing and education make Margarita the perfect barber cocktail. She has an artistic eye that sees what styles best suit her clients. Margarita trained with Gene Juarez Advanced training salon where she chose to specialize in cutting and styling. She worked for Gene Juarez until she  struck out on her at Saida salon in Kirkland for 12 years. Owning her own business made her narrow down her love for hair to men’s cuts and styles, and that realization led her to Speakeasy Barbershop.

She is passionate about continuing her education and learning the latest techniques in men’s cuts and styles from artists around the world. If she’s not at the salon cutting hair, she is probably sipping a glass of Cabernet and reading up on the latest hair trends and techniques.

Master Barber

Boris is a multilingual 4th generation barber starting with his great grandfather who used to cut hair back in Uzbekistan. The rich old school barbering techniques were passed down from son to son over the years, impacting Boris at an early age. He was only 15 when he started cutting hair in shops across Long Island, New York and received professional training American Barbering Institute in Queens, New York.

Boris comes to us with a wealth of experience barbering in various states and international locations. He reached his American dream, and opened his own barbershop in 2018 only a few blocks down from his father’s barbershop. After three years expanding his clientele the COVID-19 pandemic hit and like many other small businesses, he had to make difficult decision to close his business. Despite not having a formal business he continued pursuing learning and perfecting his craft as a master barber.
